Position: Dental Assistant

Pay: $23.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:45 AM–5:00 PM

Employment: Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive chairside assistance during dental examinations and procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment
  • Perform effective suctioning and instrument transfer
  • Take clear, diagnostic-quality dental radiographs
  • Assist with patient charting and procedure documentation using Open Dental
  • Clean, disinfect, and prepare treatment rooms between patients
  • Sterilize instruments according to established infection-control protocols
  • Follow OSHA requirements and all office safety procedures
  • Help patients feel welcomed, informed, and comfortable
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical, administrative, and laboratory teams
  • Maintain a dependable, professional, and positive attitude

Qualifications

  • Dental assisting experience is welcomed but not required
  • New Hampshire dental radiology certification is preferred
  • DANB certification or DANB eligibility is preferred
  • Training may be provided for the right candidate
  • Genuine interest in dentistry and patient care
  • Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards
  • Commitment to OSHA, infection-control, and workplace-safety requirements

Compensation and Benefits
