Located in Bethesda, MD, we provide personalized, high-quality dental care in a warm, welcoming environment. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to our practice's success. Ideal candidate:
- 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant (Required)
- Certified Dental Assistant
- X-ray certified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other dental professionals

Schedule:
Full-time
- Monday: 8 AM-5 PM
- Tuesday: 8 AM-5 PM
- Wednesday: 8 AM-5 PM
- Thursday: 8 AM-5 PM
- Friday: 8 AM - 2 PM

Compensation Package:
- Compensation $25-$30 / hour (negotiable depending on experience)

DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Work at dental offices, orthodontic practices, and dental surgery centers to help administer patient care during dental cleanings and oral surgery.
Educate patients about procedures and dental maintenance, give instructions for oral care, order x-rays and other scans and reach out to patients about scheduling routine appointments.
Set up dental exam tables, assist during cleanings and fillings, and hold dental instruments like suction tubs and mirrors while the Dentist works.
Keep track of administrative duties like scheduling patients, stocking supplies, and billing patients or insurance providers.
Ensure patients feel comfortable during their appointment as well as well-informed about treatment and dental wellness.
Ability to work with and troubleshoot a variety of dental, medical, scheduling, and other organization software in the office.

DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must possess CPR Certification alongside at least one of the following: an active dental assistant, radiology certificate, or active VA issued license number
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral health care practices

2+ years of Dental Assistant experience (required)
X-ray license (required)
Endodontic experience is a plus
Someone who punctual and reliable

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Compensation Package:
