Our practice was one of the first endodontic specialist teams in Baltimore, Maryland, established over 30 years ago. At Endodontic Partners, our goal is to provide our community with the highest quality dentistry while also providing the perfect patient experience as we treat them like family. We strive to create a friendly and comfortable environment for not only our patients but our staff as well. We have a fun and modern office with the latest technology available to you.

Our growing practice is looking to add a dental assistant to join our amazing team!

What we are looking for:

2+ years of Dental Assistant experience (required)
X-ray license (required)
Endodontic experience is a plus
Someone who punctual and reliable
Someone who is personable
Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Compensation Package:

Hourly Rate: $24 - $30 /hr (Negotiable depending on experience)

ASSOCIATE DENTIST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
Utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
Providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
Administering local anesthesia to patients as needed.
Educating patients on good oral hygiene practices and advising them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
Performing oral cancer screenings.
Prescribing antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
Ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
Taking impressions of patients’ mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.

DENTAL HYGIENIST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, radiographic studies, and charting conditions of decay and disease in compliance with the Dental Practice Act
Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, and draping them
Provide information by answering patient and staff questions
Maintain instrumentation by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting tools
Select materials and equipment by evaluating patients' oral health
Complete dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins
Detect disease through screenings, examinations, and radiographic studies
Help prevent decay by applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents

DENTAL HYGIENIST JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active dental hygiene license in MD
Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

DENTAL HYGIENIST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote dental health by completing dental prophylaxis, oral cancer screenings, radiographic studies, and charting conditions of decay and disease in compliance with the Dental Practice Act
Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, and draping them
Provide information by answering patient and staff questions
Maintain instrumentation by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting tools
Select materials and equipment by evaluating patients' oral health
Complete dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins
