Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) / Chairside Assistant | Pediatric Dentistry

Pediatric private practice is seeking an EFDA to join a new dental office! Our practice is small and intimate, making the perfect environment for those who love pediatrics!

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:

Chairside Assisting: Provide four-handed chairside assisting alongside for pediatric patients ages 6 and up.

Preventative Care Regularly apply sealants and Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF).

Patient Hygiene Perform occasional pediatric cleanings.

Scope Clarification This role focuses strictly on four-handed assisting, preventative application, and cleanings. It does not involve placing restorations or fillings.

Schedule & Hours:

Workweek: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Daily Flow Morning huddle starts at 7:30 AM (sedation days may start earlier; staff is typically out by 4:30 PM).

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range $25.00-$32.00/hr
