Location: 2074 South Main Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48103

Job Type: Full-time (4 days/week, Mon–Thurs) or Part-time (Flexible)

Pay: $45.00+ per hour (plus $1,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days)

At Ann Arbor Pediatric Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing children (ages 3+) with a positive, safe, and happy dental experience. Our private practice features a supportive, collaborative team of 5 skilled doctors (with 2 on-site daily), along with an incredible support staff. We pride ourselves on cultivating a friendly, low-drama environment where everyone works together like family.

We are seeking a warm, compassionate, and positive Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing dental home. Whether you are an experienced professional or a passionate new graduate, we would love to welcome you to our team!

Hygiene Assistant Support: Focus entirely on your patients! We have a dedicated hygiene assistant who handles x-rays, processes instruments, and flips rooms for you.

Cooperative Patient Pool: You will only treat cooperative children. Troubled or highly anxious kids are handled directly by the doctors.

No Sealants Required: Our hygienists only perform prophys (no sealants required).

Modern Technology: Work in a fully digital office using Dentrix Ascend software. All of our hygiene rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art ultrasonic and Cavitron units.

Manageable Patient Flow: Enjoy 30-minute appointment slots (which can be extended to 45 minutes if a patient needs extra time). We structure catch-up breaks into your day, seeing 8 patients in the morning (with a 30-minute break) and 8 patients in the afternoon (with another 30-minute break).

Schedule

Full-Time: 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday), or Part-Time shifts.

Daily Hours:

Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (arrival at 7:45 AM)

Tuesday: 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM (arrival at 7:00 AM)

Wednesday: 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM (arrival at 7:00 AM)

Thursday: 7:15 AM – 4:30 PM (arrival at 7:00 AM)

Friday (Optional): 7:15 AM – 4:00 PM (arrival at 7:00 AM)

Enjoy a 1-hour unpaid lunch break every day.

Qualifications

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Michigan (or eligible to obtain).

A friendly, patient-focused, and upbeat personality with a passion for working with children.

Strong communication and collaborative teamwork skills.

Experience with or willingness to learn Dentrix Ascend software.

New graduates are welcome and highly encouraged to apply!
