Meet the Office:

This office is Pediatric Dental Practice located in Edison, NJ. We are seeking an amazing dental assistant to join our team. Our team is proud to provide top quality dentistry to the children of our community! Pediatric experience is not a requirement as long as you are willing and excited to be working with kiddos! We are so excited to be adding a new assistant to our amazing dental family!

The ideal dental assistant:

• X-ray Certified (required)
• Has 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant (preferred)
• Is Registered or Certified Dental Assistant (a plus)
• Experience with 3D (iTero) scanner
• Comfortable working with children
• Great attitude

Duties include:

• Taking X-rays
• Chairside assisting
• Charting
• Assisting in patient flow
• Setting up/breaking down chairs
• Sterilization
• Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances
• Full records including taking panos, cephs, photos
• Oral hygiene and diet instruction, performing plaque score
• Prepare and arrange needed tools and instruments for scheduled procedures
• 3D Scanning (Itero scanner)

Schedule:

• Office Hours:
• Monday 9am to 5pm
• Tuesday 1pm to 6pm
• Wednesday Closed
• Thursday 1pm to 7pm
• Friday 9pm to 5pm
• Saturday 9am to 2pm (except July & August) (One per month)

Compensation Package:

• Hourly Rate: $28-$35 (negotiable based on experience)
